Para 3 - تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

3.36

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ وَضَعْتُهَاۤ اُنْثٰىؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْؕ-وَ لَیْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْاُنْثٰىۚ-وَ اِنِّیْ سَمَّیْتُهَا مَرْیَمَ وَ اِنِّیْۤ اُعِیْذُهَا بِكَ وَ ذُرِّیَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ(36)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

So when the wife of ʿImrān gave birth, she said, “I have given birth to a girl”, even though Allah knows better what she delivered and that boy ˹which she desired˺ is not like this girl ˹which she was granted,˺ and ˹she said˺, “I have named her Maryam; and I place her, and her progeny in Your protection from Satan, the accursed.”[1]

Commentary

The mother of Sayyidatuna Maryam رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا prayed that both her daughter and her offspring are protected from the evil of Satan. Allah Almighty answered this prayer. These are accepted words and so one should continue to pray for one’s children with this supplication, Allah willing, the prayer will be answered.
